CertiCare of Georgia was founded in 2008 by Laura Lazar, an RN with 15 years of experience.  Our goal is to educate participants so that they can safely, effectively, and confidently administer first aid and emergency care in the proper settings. 

Meet our Instructors...

Laura Lazar is an RN with 15 years of nursing experience ranging from ICU to Upper Management in a Home IV company.  Her love of teaching combined with her passion for healthcare is what inspried her to start CertiCare of Georgia in 2008. 

Phil Klein has been a paramedic for close to 20 years.  He is on faculty at Gwinnett Technical College where he teaches the night AEMT program and  is currently a Firefighter/Paramedic for Gwinnett County Fire and Emergency Services.
